# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like tropical sunshine even when youre rushing out the door in sweatpants.
  • You can toss in whatever fruit is about to turn and it still comes out silky and bright.
  • The ginger gives it a gentle kick that wakes you up without coffee jitters.
02 -
  • If your blender struggles, add a splash more water instead of forcing it and burning out the motor.
  • Frozen fruit makes this thick and frosty, but if you use all fresh, add ice or it will be disappointingly thin.
  • Ginger can be sneaky strong, start with half a teaspoon and taste before adding the full amount.
03 -
  • Freeze your ripe bananas ahead of time so you always have them ready and your smoothie stays thick.
  • Add the chia seeds at the end and pulse once or twice so they stay whole and give you little bursts of texture.
  • If you want it sweeter without sugar, toss in a couple of pitted dates and blend until they disappear.
