# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It turns plain yogurt into something that feels indulgent without any guilt.
  • The roasted pears taste like dessert but take less effort than toast.
  • You can make it ahead and still impress anyone who opens your fridge.
02 -
  • Do not skip flipping the pears halfway, the bottom side gets all the caramelization and you want both sides golden.
  • Let the roasted pears cool a bit before layering or they will warm the yogurt and make everything soupy.
03 -
  • Roast extra pears and keep them in the fridge, they are magic on oatmeal, pancakes, or eaten cold with a spoon.
  • If your pears are really ripe, cut the roasting time by five minutes or they will turn to jam.
