01 - Combine ripe bananas, almond milk, protein powder, cocoa powder, sweetener, and vanilla in blender. Process until completely smooth and creamy.
02 - Transfer blended mixture to large mixing bowl. Add chia seeds and whisk vigorously until evenly distributed throughout the liquid.
03 - Let mixture stand for 5 minutes to allow seeds to begin absorbing liquid. Whisk again thoroughly to break up any forming clumps.
04 - Cover bowl and refrigerate for minimum 2 hours or overnight. Mixture will thicken to pudding-like consistency as chia seeds expand.
05 - Stir chilled cream before portioning. Divide evenly among four bowls or glasses. Top with banana slices, chocolate shavings, and nuts if using. Serve cold.
